The Challenge
Rittenhouse Village is a senior living community in NW Indianapolis. The salon space, a resident facing area used regularly, needed a fresh, updated finish. The challenge was completing the work in an occupied care setting where resident comfort, air quality, and scheduling around care routines are critical considerations.
What We Did
Beacon completed a full interior repaint of the salon space, including walls, ceiling, door frames, doors, and interior window surfaces. We used low-VOC interior coatings in wall, trim, and ceiling finishes, products selected specifically for occupied environments where air quality is a priority.
Work was scheduled around the community's care routines and salon use schedule to minimize disruption. The space was returned to service with a clean, updated finish that reflects the quality of care the community provides.
The Outcome
The refreshed salon space improved the appearance of a high visibility resident area without disrupting the community's daily operations. This project demonstrates Beacon's ability to work in sensitive occupied environments, from product selection (low-VOC coatings) to scheduling (around care routines) to crew behavior (professional and respectful in care settings).
