Yardley Court Clubhouse. Interior Wallpaper Removal & Repaint
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Property Type: Condo / HOA community clubhouse
Project Type: Interior wallpaper removal, wall repair, and repaint
Scale: Multi room interior refresh including main gathering areas and restrooms
The Challenge
The Yardley Court clubhouse had outdated wallcoverings in the main room, bar area, and restrooms. The community wanted to modernize the space with a fresh painted finish, but wallpaper removal exposes substrate conditions that almost always require significant repair before painting. The project needed a contractor who could handle the full process from removal through final finish.
What We Did
Beacon managed the complete interior renovation process:
- →Wallpaper removal in the clubhouse main room, bar area, and restrooms
- →Removal and replacement of rubber cove base in restroom areas
- →Drywall repair of all damaged surfaces
- →Skim coating and sanding of wall surfaces to achieve a smooth finish
- →Priming of newly repaired substrates
- →Repainting of walls and ceilings
- →Coating of trim, crown molding, doors, window frames, and cabinetry
The Outcome
The completed clubhouse looks completely updated, not just stripped. Every surface was brought back to a smooth, clean finish with a modern paint color scheme. The bar area, main room, and restrooms all received the same level of attention, creating a cohesive refreshed space for community events and gatherings.
This project is a strong reference for clubhouses, amenity spaces, offices, and other interior environments where outdated wallcoverings need to be removed and surfaces brought back to a clean, paint ready finish. The key is scoping the full process, not just removal.
